View in your browser     Trump blasts Comey amid book drama, says he should be prosecuted President Trump on Friday blasted James Comey as a “LIAR & LEAKER” after the former FBI director’s book portrayed Trump as a power-hungry man unfit for the presidency.  In a series of tweets Friday morning, Trump said "virtually everyone in Washington thought [Comey] should be fired," and called it his "great honor to fire James Comey!" He also said Comey should be prosecuted for allegedly lying to Congress while under oath. Trump's comments come as excerpts from Comey's book, "A Higher Loyalty," have been released. The GOP is facing a number of obstacles in keeping the House, with some worrying that Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) decision not to seek reelection is a sign of trouble ahead.
