North Korea's first report card -- D: |
Via The Associated Press's Matthew Lee, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said North Korea is not close to its promise of denuclearization. How Pompeo worded it: There is "still a ways to go before" North Korea gets rid of its nuclear program. http://bit.ly/2OD1zCJ The full Pompeo quote: Pompeo told reporters in Singapore: "Chairman Kim made a commitment to denuclearize. The world demanded that [he] do so in the U.N. Security Council resolutions. To the extent they are behaving in a manner inconsistent with that, they are in violation of one or both the U.N. Security Council resolutions. We can see we still have a ways to go to achieve the ultimate outcome we're looking for." |
