A Call to Action!

Every good act, every expression of kindness and love, germinates the world with holiness. Let us each do our share. And then G-d will surely do His.
A CALL TO ACTION

By the Grace of G-d

Dear Friends and Family of Chabad.org,

As we take final stock of this past year and prepare for the new one, the Rosh Hashanah holiday announces to us assuringly: This is G-d's world! And He will certainly shower it with blessing!

There's one "catch," though: He wants us to be His partners.

So He gives us each the ability to make our world whole, to perfect it. "You CAN change the world!" our High Holiday prayers and teachings entreat and empower us. Moreover, they assure us that (together!) we WILL change the world!

With G-d wielding the baton, we each have a unique role to play in His grand orchestra.

The Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, would frequently quote the Maimonidean adage: Each person should see himself as though the entire world is in delicate balance and, with but one deed, he or she can tip the scales for good.

Every good act, every expression of kindness and love, germinates the world with holiness.

Let us each do our share. And then G-d will surely do His.
