Details on the sanctions: They are geared at North Korea's shipping industry and vessels flagged as originating from the country. | Via The Washington Post's Lori Rozsa and Mark Berman, an armed sheriff's deputy stayed outside of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while the shooter was killing people instead of entering the building. About that officer: Scot Peterson, who was armed and in uniform during the shooting, has resigned. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel "said that Peterson was in an office dealing with a school-related issue when the first shots were fired on Feb. 14 and that he got on his radio and then moved toward the outside of the building where the shooting was taking place.
