Oversight panel may hold hearing on DOJ reporter surveillance
The House Oversight Committee may hold a hearing on the Justice Department’s surveillance of a New York Times reporter as part of a leak investigation, a senior member of the panel said Friday.

Former Freedom Caucus Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a top President Trump ally, said he was “very nervous” to learn about the extent of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) decision to collect and scrutinize years’ worth of the reporter’s email and phone records.
